I have had varying degrees of acne for my whole life since puberty. I had given up. Doryx has been a miracle drug for me. I am completely acne free for the first time in 35 years. |

Really didn't help in clearing up acne. The constant itching drove me nuts. The itching is still occurring even after I stopped using the product for over 7 days. |

It seems like when I am on this medication, I have a hard time speeking. Like I have a hard time getting the words out. I am also experiencing memory problems. Once I stop the Medicine, the problems start to go away & things go back to normal for me, but my skin problem comes back. My husband & co-workers have also notice the changes in me. THey say they can tell when I am on the medication. This is not listed as a side effect. I have told the doctor & they are documenting it. I am going to try some other natural remedies. I hate this medicine! |

I am writing a comment related to my 16-year old son, who began taking Doryx almost two months ago for acne. Last night he awoke in the middle of the night with severe stomach pain. We took him to the ER, he was treated with morphine 3 times, with an incrementally larger dose each time he failed to get relief. He stayed overnight, but no cause was ever found, even though a CAT scan was done. His bloodwork was normal. I'm wondering if he could be experiencing a side effect from the Doryx? |
